Regardless of the position we are hiring for, our process is the same. We carefully read through resumes, conduct a phone interview, conduct an in-person interview, run a background check, call all references, conduct a second in-person team interview, and then after careful consideration and scrutiny we make a formal offer of employment.
Besides the experience and knowledge of the particular position you are applying for, the following are qualities and characteristics we look for in all employees.
Team Player! – One of the things that sets us apart from most other firms is our team. All of our employees genuinely care for one another, our company, and our clients. Only by working with and supporting each other, sharing our own experience and knowledge, and openly learning and growing professionally and personally we are able make this the best company possible.
Honest and Trustworthy – We are entrusted with the most intimate and protected space, our clients’ home. We feel honored by this and take it very seriously. Each of our employees need to take this just as seriously. We do not tolerate lying, cheating, nor steeling.
Great Communication – For our business to be successful and our clients to be happy throughout their remodel, we insist on constant, clear communication by all employees. Written and verbal communication skills are a must. Proficient use of technology, such as smart phones, tablets, computers, etc. is critical for each of our employees to perform their job, including our field labor.
Well Groomed and Professional – How each of our employees presents and carries themselves says a lot about who they are, as well as who we are as a company. Our field personnel is uniformed. Our office and design staff is to dress in business attire. Our company and personal vehicles are in good repair and clean. We speak respectfully. We do not allow smoking on our work sites. We keep our tools and supplies organized and clean up after ourselves.
Drug Free – We operate as a drug free company. Part of our hiring process is to conduct a drug test. We do not tolerate working under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Giving Spirit – Giving back is a fundamental part of our company culture. We, as a company, are blessed with the ability to make a positive difference in our community. We ask that all of our co-workers participate (with a happy heart) in our various charity events.
